Development
At Pickle, I was responsible for developing both the mobile app using React Native and the web app using React JS. For the mobile app, my focus was on creating a smooth experience for users, regardless of whether they were using an iPhone or an Android device. I ensured that the app's layout was intuitive and that users could navigate through it effortlessly. Similarly, on the web app, I ensured that the website was responsive, meaning it adjusted seamlessly to different screen sizes, allowing users to access Pickle's services from their computers, tablets, or phones with ease. Collaborating closely with the design team, we ensured that the user interface was visually appealing and user-friendly across both platforms. Together with the design team, we integrated essential features such as user authentication, data synchronization, and payment processing into both the mobile and web apps. This enabled users to sign in securely, access their data across devices, and complete transactions seamlessly. We aimed to create an enjoyable and hassle-free experience for users looking to rent clothes online while also promoting sustainability. By focusing on reliability, speed, and usability, we aimed to make Pickle's apps accessible to everyone who loves fashion and cares about the environment, ultimately contributing to a more sustainable and affordable fashion industry.

Having additional duties as a Project Manager at Pickle, I led the development of both the mobile and web applications, aligning them with the company's mission of redefining fashion rental with affordability and sustainability. Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, I orchestrated the project from conception to delivery, ensuring that the user experience was seamless and intuitive across platforms. By integrating essential features such as user authentication and payment processing, I facilitated secure transactions and data synchronization, enhancing the platform's functionality and reliability. Through effective communication with stakeholders and a focus on user feedback, I championed a user-centric approach to design, fostering a visually appealing and accessible interface. With a commitment to promoting conscious choices and eco-friendly alternatives, I played a pivotal role in making Pickle's peer-to-peer marketplace a catalyst for change in the fashion industry.
