Development
As a React Native developer at Sitepics, my primary responsibilities involved contributing to the development and enhancement of the mobile application. Utilizing React Native's cross-platform capabilities, I collaborated with the development team to implement key features such as picture management, geo-location services, and data collation functionalities. Leveraging Redux for state management, I ensured efficient data handling and synchronization, enabling seamless access to staff and contractor pictures for quoting, selling, servicing, and billing purposes. Furthermore, I played a pivotal role in optimizing the user interface and experience of the Sitepics app. Working closely with designers, I translated design specifications into responsive and user-friendly UI components, ensuring consistency and adherence to design principles. By implementing React Navigation, I facilitated smooth navigation between different screens and functionalities, enhancing overall usability and engagement for users. Additionally, I integrated third-party APIs such as Google Maps for geo-location services, enabling precise tagging and organization of staff and contractor pictures based on their locations. Through rigorous testing and debugging, I ensured the reliability, performance, and scalability of the Sitepics app, delivering a robust and efficient picture management solution for businesses.
